- We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data.
- No ads. No third-party tracking.
- The only data that ever leaves your device is the minimum needed to process optional purchases and the referral program (see below).
THE SHORT VERSION
1. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Everything you create in A-LISTR stays on your device, including:
- Lists, items, descriptions, and categories
- Photos you attach (from your library or clipboard)
- Saved map locations, contacts you import, and links
- Reminders and notification settings
- Themes, text size, voice, and other app preferences
- Private lists locked behind Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode
We never see this information. It is not uploaded to our servers and is not shared with anyone.
2. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES
A-LISTR offers an optional subscription (first month free, then $3.00/month). Purchases are processed by Apple/Google through their App Stores. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple/Google may share limited, non-identifying transaction information with us (such as whether a subscription is active) so we can unlock premium features. Apple/Google's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple/Google's own privacy policies.
3. REFERRAL AND GIFT CODES
If you use the referral or gift-code features, a secure server stores only the information needed to make rewards work and prevent abuse, such as:
- Your randomly generated referral code
- Anonymous counts of how many friends joined using your code
- Whether referred users became paying subscribers
- Your accumulated subscription credit balance
- Gift-code redemptions and their remaining validity
This data is not linked to your name, email, or contacts, and is never sold or used for advertising. It exists solely to operate the rewards
4. PERMISSIONS WE MAY REQUEST
- Photos: only to attach images you choose to your lists.
- Contacts: only to import names, phone numbers, or emails you select.
- Microphone / Speech: only for hands-free voice input ("Go List"). Speech is processed to add items; we do not store recordings.
- Notifications: only to deliver the per-item reminders you set.
- Face ID / Touch ID: only to lock and unlock private lists on your device.
You can change or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device's Settings.
5. DATA SHARING AND SELLING
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in the app.
6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Because your content lives on your device, deleting a list, item, or the app itself removes that data. Referral/gift-code records held on our server are retained only as long as needed to operate the rewards program. You may request deletion of any referral data associated with your code by contacting us.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
A-LISTR is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no account is required and data stays on-device, the app does not gather identifying information from any user, including children.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and posted at https://sbm-apps.com/a-listr-privacy
